So the wife and I are considering running a minecraft server (20 slot), its $15/mo so we're trying to judge if we can get interest from our various gaming friends. Obviously there would be alot of ground rules to prevent abuse of each others creations and such.
For those wondering wtf is Minecraft, its a sandbox game where you mine materials and build by day and survive zombie attacks by night. Probably the simpilest description to a rather complex game I can give. The graphics are very old school pixelated looking but the game is a ton of fun.
Let me know who is interested and I'll keep everyone posted.
New server is purchased it is whitelisted so only people we invite can join, if youre interested post your minecraft username and we'll add you. I'll post the IP and rules once we sort out some techinicial issues.
Its a very addicting game, it doesn't look that great but it is fun. One thing we've considered is getting a "community account" so that others can try the game free to see if they like it, not sure if we will or not tho.
